The fastest way: email us
Drop a short email describing what's wrong and where you saw it. Include a link to the page if you can.
We read every email — usually within a day.
What to tell us
Whichever of these you've got is helpful:
- Practice Practice name + postcode (so we can find the right record).
- What's wrong One or two sentences — wrong phone, wrong address, missing practice, listed under wrong borough, etc.
- Source A link to the practice's NHS.uk page or CQC profile if you have it. We rely on those for the canonical answer.
Where our data comes from
NHS practice phone numbers and addresses are pulled directly from the NHS ODS FHIR API (the same source NHS.uk uses). Private clinic data is pulled from the CQC public API. Both are refreshed every Monday, so corrections you send before then will land on the next refresh automatically.
If a practice has recently moved or changed phone number and you can't see the update yet, please give it a week — NHS ODS sometimes lags behind real-life changes. If it's still wrong after that, email us and we'll investigate.
For practice managers
If you manage an NHS GP practice and want to update your details, the canonical place to do it is the NHS Organisation Data Service. Once it's updated there, it'll flow through to our site (and to NHS.uk) on the next refresh.
For private clinics, updates flow from the CQC register. If your CQC details are correct but we've classified you wrongly (e.g. wrong specialty or wrong borough), email us and we'll patch it manually.
Removing a practice
If your practice has closed, merged with another, or no longer accepts new patients, please email us so we can either remove the listing or flag it correctly.
